And this is what happens when I have to create a WHOLE picture around a pencil sketch in Photoshop. -_-;;;

Yeah. A scene from the story I wrote for NaNoWriMo last year. I just sketched Reilly and Xae, and was in the middle of cleaning it up and coloring it (I've gotten into the habit of coloring straight over my sketches) when I decided I didn't just want them, I wanted the whole scene. Everything around them was drawn directly into PS. Not happy with everything (DAMN BOOKSHELVES RAWR), but it's not bad.

Bad stuff going on outside the study. Kael's sent them there to keep them safe and ordered them not to come out until all's quiet... so all they can do is wait.

The flames are my favorite part. They were really fun to mess around with.
